Background/History:
Born into one of the richer families of Japan, Hoshiko was to live a good, prosperous life. Her father was a very successful merchant who earned a good amount of money. One day, when Hoshiko was young, about 7 years old, a group of rogue theives came and stole from their home. One of the thieves took Hoshiko in hopes to teach her to be a theif, but the leader told him to get rid of her. She went on her own with nothing but the clothes on her backs. Over ten years later, she found a poor family who had always wanted a child, so they took her in. The parents were elderly in age soon enough and died of old age. Hoshiko now lives alone, and thinks that's how it should be.
